Deborah Ghyssens
Pre-dance
Deborah Ghyssens has lived in the dance world since her childhood. She started at the age of 4 in 1993 at the Karys Dance Center, coached by Nicole Karys, Yannick Karys and Marie-Claude Regnier. She also takes lessons at the Jean Absil Academy and at Yantra.
In 2002 her passion becomes her profession and she joins the Ecole Royale de Danse in Antwerp where she graduates in 2007. She takes part in training sessions (Ecole Royale de Danse in Antwerp, VM Dance Studio in Toulouse, Groupe international des 8 in Saint-Cyprien, Royal Conservatory in Madrid, Dance Academy Tour. She performs in operettes, catwalks, school events, Dirty Ballet Awards and charity events. She finishes her training at the Institut de Formation Professionnelle Rick Odums in Paris in 2008.
She is divided between performing on stage (Compagnie Show Time in North Pas-de-Calais, Jackshow group in Liège, ‘Claudette’ for Tom Evers’) and teaching (Karys Dance Center, Ateliers des Arts of Lilan Lambert, Saint-Joseph, Maison de la Création, Brussels International Catholic School).
