Caroline Leboutte
Theater / Singing / Musical
Caroline Leboutte graduated from the « Institut des Arts de Diffusion », in Louvain-La-Neuve (drama section), and from the “Centre d’Etudes Théâtrales (CET)”. Very much attracted to the art of singing, she joined singing workshops with Laurence Saltiel (jazz singing) and many trainings.
She starts as a director at the “Théâtre du Copeau” assisting Patrick Waleffepour, Journal d’un Chat Assassin (Cha Va Jazzer- Huy 2004), then starts writing and directing for youngsters with la Maison de la Marraine (Huy 2005) and Waff ! (Théâtre du Copeau Huy 2008).
She sets up the Skat Théâtre ( a youngster – oriented theatrical and musical production).
She has just accomplished the leading of an opera for the young audience Lupus in fabula/Ne criez pas au loup ! (by Como in 2010) and performed in 2011 by The Royal Opera of Liège , and 2012 in Madrid/Rouen).
She acts and sings in Hymne à l’Amour (directed by B. Belvaux- J. Lambert 2003-05)then in Juliette Toute Seule (play by Florence Klein and Kala Neza) destined for teenagers.
She is directed by Guillaume Dumont in : Greek (Steven Berkoff), Antigone (Brecht) and Stabat Mater Furiosa (JP Simenon). She participates in acting performances with La Foire aux Monstres and les Puces ( Lune et l’Autre Company ).
She also takes part in various musical projects from the French Song to Rock, jazz and brazilian music (Tronches de vie, Mélimélo, Tout Mais Pas ça).
Also concerned about teaching, she proposes workshops for children since 2002 (CEC théâtre de Namur, AKDT Libramont) and for adults (collaboration to the Centre Dramatique Wallon Enfance Jeunesse) and professionals ( master class for opera singers, coaching to directing…).
